An image comes in mind when anyone just talk about Gurgaon metro city, and that picture is about the world class Shopping Malls of Gurgaon. Yes, Gurgaon is the paradise for shopping lovers who just addicted to buy anything only from Shopping Malls. There is also another fact behind the popularity of Gurgaon shopping places; majority of peoples come from entire Delhi/NCR
So with this Gurgaon shopping blog, I will just go through the list of top shopping malls, markets and places, & discuss about what you should buy when you are shopping in Gurgaon. Just check it out-
Gurgaon Shopping Places : Local Markets
The Shopping Mall, DLF Phase 1
Located in Arjun Marg DLF Phase 1, The Shopping Mall is one of the best places for shoppers. This market is mainly retail market to buying cloths for all (kids, ladies, gents), so you can expect good quality cloths and branded items at very reasonable prices. However all prices are fixed, but you can still bargaining to get your desired items like I always do. 😉 You can also assume DLF Phase 1 shopping market as a street market for shopping cause all the shops are adjacent with each other, so you can easily switch between the shops to find your favorite item. And if your budget is also average, this is the best place to buy branded jeans, formal shirts/pants/accessories, kids wear, woolen, casual, and all other types of seasonal cloths. So visit there if you haven’t visited before. I hope this shopping market will not disappoint you.
Oh…one more thing!! If you are going to shopping in DLF Phase 1 market, don’t forget to taste the delicious non veg foods at Qureshi’s kabab corner. This is one of the best places for eating out in Gurgaon. So Enjoy! 🙂
Sector 14 Market
Another one of the top visited and most crowded local market of Gurgaon. Sector 14 market is fully packed with food joints, retail outlets, ATMs, and branded stores. You would find there all the daily lifestyle items which you expect from an ideal shopping market. You can buy gold jewellery, mobiles, gifts, garments, books, electronics and others items at good price. As the item list is very long, so I can’t put all the details here. But the conclusion is, you can buy here all the desired items. I would suggest you to visit in afternoon to haggle better and avoid the rush.
And don’t forget to taste here some delicious foods at the top rated restaurants and food places where you can take a short break to prepare yourself again for more shopping. 🙂 And some top places are: OM Sweets, Karim’s, Gulabwala, Rasoi, Yo-China, JodhpurVala, South Food Point, Sir John Bakery Cafeand, and more-n-more.
Sadar Bazar is the mainly busiest, oldest, and the main market of Gurgaon. However, it is also the most neglected market of Gurgaon as the luxurious shopping malls are opening day by day in the city. But the best thing about Sadar Bazar, it is very cheaper than any other shopping area of entire Gurgaon. You can buy almost all the items at very cheap price with maximum varieties. It is also the best place if you are looking to buy costly diamond jewellery as well as gold and silver jewellery. There are number of old and new jewellery shops in a row with verities of old and latest fashion jewelry. So I think you should visit Sadar Bazar once for budget shopping as it is best suit to every pocket.
But there is also few tips from my side if you are planning to shop in Sadar Bazar Gurgaon, as roads have been narrowed and no space for parking, so its better to avoid in evening or pick a public transport to visit Sadar Bazar. It is very close to Gurgaon bus stand.
So, these are the list of best local shopping markets of Gurgaon which I discussed above. Now I am going to talk about Gurgaon shopping malls and related info for shopping. But, it is also a very hard job for me to discuss about every shopping mall individually, so I only selected best 5 shopping malls of the city which claim Gurgaon as the top destination for shopping in entire Delhi/NCR. Just check it out-
But before that I suggest check the detailed info on the best places (top 10 street markets) for shopping in India.
