It is well known Chandigarh is one of the best planned, most happening and the best striking city of India which is famous for its renowned architecture, lifestyle, five star hotels, parks and one of the best places for fabulous shopping. You can visit any time of the year for travel and search hidden treasure in Chandigarh. However, there are plenty of tourist attractions in Chandigarh which I’ll discuss later(It  has been done!). So in this blog I am sharing here the list of top places for shopping in Chandigarh. Just check it out-

Chandigarh Shopping Places : Street Markets

Sector 17 Market – City Centre

If you are going for shop in Chandigarh, it would be highly recommended to start your day with sector 17 shopping market which well known as City Centre. There is no doubt it is one of the most crowded and best destination for shopping lovers in Chandigarh. You can buy there wide range of garments (branded, traditional & handcraft), shoes, electronic goods, books from popular stores and streets shops. It is the also the best place to buy all types of daily lifestyle and fashion products.

There are also plenty of famous hotels and restaurants near sector 17 market Chandigarh where you can take a break after a hard day of shopping. Also find here what you can do till late night in Chandigarh.

Sector 22-D Market

Chandigarh sector 22-D market is well known as the best street market in Chandigarh which may best suit every pocket with bargaining to reasonable prices. You can not only get there from wide collections of cloths (traditional sarees, salwars, party dresses & kids wear), bags, shoes, gifts and home linen & accessories products at very low-low rates, but also sector 22 market is the best area to find the big range of women jewellery shops to buy gold, silver, artificial and diamond jewellery.

Sector 15

Sector 15 shopping market is well known as the one stop place to buy the items in budget, which makes it one of most popular budget shopping places in Chandigarh. All streets in the market are fully packed with shops (some permanent, some wayside) of cloths, trends bags, seasonal garments, kitchen items, electronics, books, salons and few good eating out places of Chandigarh where you can not only taste Indian foods with Punjabi flavor, but also some roadside stalls where you can eat Chinese, Punjabi chaat and hot burger.

Shopping in Chandigarh Malls

Elante Mall

Now I am moving from busy streets markets to famous Malls in Chandigarh to explore some popular shopper’s stop where you can usually see young crowd of the city in branded world class showrooms for shopping. And I start here with Elante Mall Chandigarh.

Elante Shopping Mall is the largest and most crowded shopping mall in Chandigarh region. Large range of fine dining, row of premium brands stores, numbers of multiplexer cinemas, fast foods corners inside the Mall makes it the costliest destinations for shop in Chandigarh. You can see their world leading brand showrooms including Apple, Bose, Jambo Electronics, Nike, Adidas, Reliance more and more. However, this place may be expensive for many of us, but if you have good budget for first-class shopping, you should go Elanta Mall once.

City Emporium Mall

Again one of the most popular shopping and leisure destinations in Chandigarh. City Emporium offers more than 100 shopping  stores with world’s top international brands( retails, footwear, electronics & home accessories), Wave cinema with 4 multiplex screens, Food Court which offers delicious foods, and biggest open area inside mall where you can easily find preferred shop for comfort shopping.

DLF City Centre

DLF City Centre is one of the greatly preferred and most visited Malls located in heart city Chandigarh, surrounded by Tricity-Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. It is blended with numbers of dining options for eating out (Rajdhani, Subway, Baskin Robbins, Sindhi Moti Mahal), 3D multiplexer screen with seating capacity of 800 peoples and world class international brands which claim fashion trends for men/women/kid for their daily lifestyle. That’s why you can see there much crowd through any time of the day.

However, there are plenty of options for shop in heart city Chandigarh like any other city, but I only discuss here top rated Malls and highly recommended local shopping markets in Chandigarh. Also find here deep info of Chandigarh top class 5 star hotels and accommodations.
