Hi Khyati, thanks for your advice. But, neither I am any travel agent nor going to start any huge website like goibibo and some others. I am single owner/author/admin on this small travel blog who just love to write about travel and other related information.

      Gaurav,

It’s good to know you already visited some of the most beautiful destinations of India. That’s great. I believe you still have some good options for your next family trip. You may plan for Mount Abu, Rishikesh, Coorg or Wayanad(in Kerala). These all destinations are best to visit in October month. Darjeeling is also a good option after monsoon, and if you visit Darjeeling after mid of oct it will great.

  20. Hello friends,

i want to go for holiday in March 2nd week for a 5-7days, can anyone suggest which place is good. I’m much interested in Kashmir.
if this is not right place (March 2nd week), please suggest alternative place like cool or chill place.

    Thanks
    KV

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Of-course, Kashmir is good to visit in March but still I shall not recommend Kashmir to anyone as Kashmir faced very bad natural disaster in last couples of months, so it will take much time to recover, and I hope after sometime it will again offer a precious natural beauty. So ignore Kashmir for at-least one year. However, there are numbers of beautiful tourist destinations in India where you may go for holidays in march month. Manali, Coorg (Kodagu), Shimla, Sikkim, Wayanad, or Mussoorie can be visited for experience the chill climate.

However, you can also plan to visit Lakshadweep Islands or Andaman & Nicobar for vacations in summer if you wanna enjoy sunny weather & beautiful blue ocean.

      Hope, it is enough.

  21. Hi. Me, my husband, and a kid of 3 year is planning holiday between 26th Feb to 2nd march. Please suggest good options in India. I am thinking Kerala. What places I can cover. I will travel via Mumbai. Please reply asap. Thanks in advance.

    • Hello Mrs. Jaiswal. As you want to travel from Mumbai, so I believe you’re looking for any nearby holiday destinations for vacation. And I also believe it would be best if I suggest you any near by destinations in south India or any near by holiday places from Mumbai.

You can plan for Goa, Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, Bhandardara, or Khandala Lonavla if you haven’t traveled these destinations. And the best thing is that all these beautiful destinations are well connected from Mumbai. So you may also think about these places according to your choice and comfortability.

But of-course, Kerala is truly an unbeaten choice for vacations in Feb to March. And yes, it is the peak season too for Kerala tourism. So, go Kerala if you’re not interested with other places.

      Thanks,

  22. Nice Post Gaurav. But it will be better if you provide the travel guidance in another post or in this post.It will help people like me who don’t know how to reach the place. What hotels available there. How much it cost.Nice Blog.I have also gathered some information from your Blog.

      Thanks for your input!

  23. Nice blog and thanks for sharing such a beautiful article, i was just wondering where to travel in india for summer holidays.

  24. Dear Gaurav, there is very less informative blogs in India which share accurate info.

I visited makemytrip, yatra, etc….for travel information, but there is no one who can serve customers first. Everyone is busy to make customers fool and just make money.

I’m visiting this blog from last 1 year, and today I say…It is the best travel website/blog in India where I can trust..

Keep up this great job continue Gaurav!

    U r terrafic! ☺

  25. India is richest country in India in terms of culture this is very useful post to know tourist destination.
