Hi Lucky, don’t be confused to choose between Kerala and Kashmir. Kerala is most emerging and top visiting honeymoon destinations in India. So plan your honeymoon trip to Kerala. It is more safer than Kashmir, and any other honeymoon spots.

So, Enjoy your good time :)

Cochin and Trivendrum, both options for you. Tell me exact location from where you want to start your trip in Kerala so that I can better suggest you.

          • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Book flight to Cochin to reach houseboat, it is well known as Kerala Backwater. Prices are different, its better to search ‘houseboats in kerala booking’ online to know the prices which best suit your pocket/budget.

      • Hi gaurav,Can u pls advise?I am planning for kerela in Sept.will it b ok in Sept as I heard its heavy mansoon in dis period?

  6. Hi Gaurav,

I have plans to visit J&K in March’14, could you guide me for a week plan for honeymoon…

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Shashi, few recommendations for your honeymoon in Jammy & Kashmir-

Popular destinations: Vaishnodevi, Gulmarg, Srinagar, Pahalgam, Kokernag, Sonmarg, and Dachigam National Park.
Popular attractions: Dal Lake, Vular Lake, Nageen Lake, houseboats and more..

  7. Hey I planning for a honeymoon trip in February 2014… But I m confused between Darjeeling…shimla…kulumanali….which will be the best one…..wat will be the temperature of this places in February…

  8. Hi Gaurav,

Please suggest for my Honeymoon in India in April Last week. I don’t want to go common places like Shimla, Manali etc. So please suggest something else.

    Thanks in Advance. :)

  9. Hi Gaurav,

I am planning for my honeymoon in april 2014 and selected kerala and andamans. Can u plz suggest among these 2 which will be better for april month in terms of sightseeing and safety.

    • Hey Tanvir. If you talk about sightseeing and safety, both places are top in demand among honeymooners. However, I didn’t hear any bad news from Andaman & Kerala. But if you confuse to choose one between Kerala & Andaman for security point of you, I will suggest you to plan for Kerala. Kerala will offer you all what you can expect as a tourist like beaches, backwater, houseboat, hill-stations(Munnar), nature scenery and more-n-more.

  10. Which is the best honeymoon destinations on the month of February… Kerala, shimla,kullu-manali… Can u plz suggest.?????

  11. Actually I m confused in shimla, kullu manali and kerla……..y r u choose Kerala???? Not shimla kullu manali?????PlZ explain…….suggest me best one bcz I want to make very memorable n so special

    • Ultimately the choice is yours!! Manali is for chilly weather, snow fall, hill station etc… But Kerala offers countless activities to do & enjoy like beaches, backwater(vast expanses of water), houseboat, natural beauty, mangrove forest and more n more places in Kerala(Kochi and Munnar) where you can also visit during your honeymoon trip. So I guess, it depends what you like.

  12. Thanku so much gaurav for ur suggestion……

  13. shailendra singh

Hello Gaurav, in India = best- Kerala is one of the best honeymoon destination in March suggest me some other destinations outside india
suggest betwn bali fiji hawai srilanka maldives which one is in the budget
    Budget Maximum- 150000

  14. Hi Gaurav, I Like to go either Kullu manali or Ooty. I am planning on the month of may. So which is the best place in it ? I prefer kullu manali, but how abt in may month.. can i enjoy the climate and chillness during the day ?

  15. hey,

I was confused between Kerela and Jodhpur, in my choice of Destination to be visited on our first Anniversary, as Thailand and Maldives are beyond our reach due to budget constrains. :D Reading your Blog helped me chose mine. Now, its a big yes to Kerela. (Y) i think Feb is the right month to visit, what say?? ;)

  16. hi gaurav.can u suggest place to visit in month of march.i m planning anniversary trip. I am confused between Himachal and kerala. I have a year old son so considering the climate i have to make my decision. Also can u suggest where I can book the holiday package at reasonable price, is it advisable to book package or plan and travel on our own.

    • Hi Shekhar, I guess Himanchal(Shimla, Manali etc.) should be the right choice for you. I can’t predict the exact climate in march in Himanchal, but you can expect cool conditions and temperature could be near around 10°C to 25°C, so take proper warm clothes for your son. There are some reasons to recommend Himanchal in march, like you can also enjoy some adventure sports like paragliding, trekking, river rafting, jeep safari & bike tour. However, march is hot month to travel in Kerala but nights are very pleasant. So choice is your, but prefer somewhere in Himanchal. BTW, Oct to Feb is the best time for break in Kerala.

  17. hi gaurav …. can u tell me which place is best for honeymoon in march.we r planning in mid of march so will you suggest me right place

  18. Hi gaurav can you suggest good places for honeymoon in the month of june as winters there many choices but wat about june july. Awaiting your response. ………

    • @Sameer
In month of June & July, I will suggest you to plan for any hill station for honeymoon as other places will be hot or would be receiving rainfalls in this season. So you may plan for Ladakh, Sikkim, Manali or Shimla.

      Regards :-)

  19. Hi Gaurav,

First of all congratulation! to u for your great sevice. Keep up the good work. All the best.

Now i come to my point. I am planning for my honeymoon in the month of May 1st week from after visiting our relative at chennai. Please suggest best place as well as low in expense. We are from assam n meghalaya. Pls suggest.

    • @Shanker, first thanks for appreciation! As you belong to Assam & Meghalaya state, then Gangtok(Sikkim) is top recommendation from my side. It is also not too far from your location. You can also visit my another post ‘top ten hill stations of India’ where you can get more info about Sikkim & Shillong hill stations & related info.

But, as you said you will plan after visiting your relative at Chennai, or if you’re looking for any honeymoon spots in south India. I will best suggest you to plan Munnar(Kerala). Undoubtedly, Munnar is an exotic spot for honeymoon in May.

      Hope, it helped! :-)

  20. Hi Gaurav,
I really appreciate your post… Keep guiding and my best wishes to you..

I have booked my honeymoon in Goa in first week of Feb. 2014. Do you have any suggestions and advises for me? i like to make it memorable. Any something special honeymoon ideas or any places to visit. What you say about scuba diving with my partner?

    Thanks in advance

    • Hi Tavish. There are endless places to visit & things to do in Goa for honeymooners like you :) Goa is top locations for enjoy water sports, beaches parties, traveling to old Goa city, trip to famous bird sanctuary & heritage places, taste delicious sea foods and more-n-more recommendations for you to enjoy honey time in Goa. Its better to plan a long trip and enjoy whatever you want! Feb is without doubt best time to honeymoon in Goa.

  21. Hi Gaurav,

I am getting married on 14 Feb and planning honeymoon in second week of march and we have shortlisted two places as Andaman and Kerala which one will u suggest me? Also if i plan to purchase travel tickets by my side do u know any person or tour company which can show us the places and arrange our stay in Kerala or Andaman.

    Thanks and Regards
    Nikhil

    • @Nikhil. Both are unbeaten honeymoon locations of India for traveling in march. Andaman & Nicobar Islands is peace/calm and best spot for romance whereas Kerala is little bit crowded compare to Andaman Islands! But it doesn’t mean Andaman has replaced Kerala from top spot. Kerala is always best choice among honeymooners in India. So, its totally depend on what exactly you are looking for. But I will also recommend you to go through travel guide of Kerala & Andaman if you’re planning for visiting there.

Its better to search online honeymoon tour operator for booking trip, I haven’t any personal experience with any trip providers. Thanks.

      Cheers! :)

  22. Hi Gaurav
I want to travel to goa in 2 nd week of march for honeymoon..What can you say about the weather?

    Gaurav

  23. Thanx buddy… your post and your reply to visitors are very helpful to me.. i m finalizing kerla in Apr’14 for weak just want to know what can i plan. pl help me out..
    Thanx in advance :)

    • There are unlimited activities & things to do in Kerala. However, I haven’t any individual post about Kerala tourism yet. You can search & find Kerala travel guide online to know & plan a perfect trip to Kerala.

      Thanks & Cheers!!

  24. HI Gaurav

I am getting married on 8th may and planning my honeymoon in 3rd week of may. i m totally confused where to go.kerela and goa are in my list but in may i think it will be hot there. As I am from Shimla so familiar with hills beauty so what to do? suggest some good place to visit.

    • :D You already live in Himanchal So I guess you already visited Manali, Mussoorie & Nainital. As you said Goa & Kerala in your list of choice, I will just say may is hot and sunny season in Kerala & Goa. You can plan for Ooty or Coorg hill station for honeymoon. Hope, you wouldn’t be disappointed.

      Regards,

  25. Hi Gaurav

I am getting married this April.I am from Bangalore. I am confused between Simla and Coorg for our honeymoon trip. What are the exciting factors in both places? Let me know your suggestions.

    Regards

    • Hi Ranjit. Shimla & Coorg, both are opposite to each other. Coorg offers nature beauty with green scenic whereas Shimla is snow covered and surrounded by valley and huge Himalaya. However, Shmila is good option for enjoy adventure sports & mountain rides like ice skating, trekking, para gliding etc…and can offer pleasant climate. I guess Coorg would be quite hot in April. Alternate to Coorg, you can plan for Ooty, Muunar or Kodikanal.

      Best,

  26. hi,

we are planning to go honeymoon on april mount. kindly suggest some of honeymoon places to choose, we can go for any island or hill areas,

    regards,
    arun

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Arun: I’ll preferred you to go Manali or Mussoorie hill station if you’re planning to travel in north India during april, else Mahabaleshwar, Ooty and Kodaikanal are also good choice in South. All are hill stations!! :-)

      Thanks,

  27. hi ,i would like to go somewere in march, can u tell which would be the good place to visit, my budget about 20 to 25 k

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Within this budget you can plan for Shmila, Ooty or Manali. These places are best to visit in India during march. Otherwise Andaman and Lakshadweep are also good option but both are expensive.

  28. hi gaurav i m getting married in may and we are planing for honeymoon in same month for 1 week our budget is 60k to 70k can u suggest most romantic place in india for spending lovely time together

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Harsha: May is hot month across in India, so lot of places are too hot during may. Its better to plan any hill station like Manali, Shimla, Ooty or Darjiling. Kerala is also very hot during may. So avoid it. Your budget is also sufficient for visiting these places if you haven’t added flight fares. Good Luck :)

  29. Hello Friend,
U really have presented the details in a concise manner. I would like to have your inputs on the honeymoon destination for me. We intend to go in mid april. Our interest lie towards beaches. How will be the weather in Andman, Goa etc.? we have a budget constraint of Rs 50,000/. Can the 4 star facility be availed considering the flight cost for 2 from Delhi?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

April is summer season so you may expect hot climate in mid of April. But both are sea side places so you can expect water sports & all types of adventurous and tourist activities too. However, you can book flight and 4 star hotel easily, but I can’t tell you the exact/average budget for Andaman/Goa trip. Its better to visit trip planner websites for honeymoon packages info & latest travel deals. Thanks.

  30. Hi Gaurav,
I am planning for a trip of maximum of 3-4 days, could you please advise which place will be good to visit in the month of Feb (Lakshwadeep, Andaman, Shimla, Manali). Thank you.

    • Also in addition to my query, would these places can be visited and enjoyed within 3-4 days, please suggest?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Amit: Without doubt Feb(winter) is is the best time for honeymooners in Shimla and Manali especially if you’re looking a cold place. You can also expect snow fall in Manali in feb if you are little bit lucky. :) Otherwise Feb is also ideal time for to visit Lakshwadeep and Andaman both. Its all depend on your choice. Snow fall & cold destination or beaches beauty & water sports activities! So decide what you really likes more. Thanks.

  31. Hello gaurav,
I am planning for honeymoon in 3rd week of may. Which one be the best place of honeymoon in India during this season. I am looking for manali and simla both. How many days will be sufficient to visit the both places and what should be the budget..??

  32. Hi,
I’m planning honeymoon in da lst week of April for arnd 5-6 days. Hav a budget of around 50K. Pls suggest da best options i can opt for (keeping da climate of Apr-May in mind) as both of us love to travel and see/explore new places. Pls suggest so that we can remember it as our best romantic experience.
If U giving me Sikkim , Kerela or Kashmir. Pls let me knw the must visit places out there and also no. of days i should spend at each of those places…Thanks in Advance ..!! :)

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Sandeep: 50K is enough budget for honeymoon in India(If you do not included extra expenses like shopping & both side transportation). I will suggest you to plan Manali or Sikkim. April is ideal time for Manali and peak time for honeymoon in Sikkim. Both offers unlimited activities and sightseeing places. However, I haven’t any particular blog post on Manali or Sikkim. But you can search travel guide of Manali and Sikkim online where you can get more info to plan you trip in better manner. Thanks.

      • Thanks Gaurav. I’m definitely giving a thought for Sikkim. However, to be true I also have a 2nd thought for Kashmir as well (Srinagar-Gulmarg-Sonmarg-Pahalgam).
So if you can pls share your views whether you think Kashmir will be a smart/better deal & experience for us OR should I stick to Sikkim. Thanks.

        • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Both are the best destinations for visiting in April. However, Sikkim is the top destination of the world for travel in 2014 according to LonelyPlanet(World’s leading travel guide). But still I will suggest you Kashmir for its unmatched beauty of this “Heaven on Earth” place.

But don’t decide quickly. You can also ask anyone who can suggest you to choose better one between these two places. However, final decision is yours. Good Luck :)

  33. Hi,

I am planning our honeymoon trip in the last week of march. We have shortlisted two places – Shimla manali and Darjeeling. Which place out of two would you suggest for honeymoon in the last week of March?
    TIA

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Sanjay: By the way you shortlisted three places :) Okey, No problem. Better to plan your trip to Manali. This is best season to go there. Feb to March is the spring season in Manali, so you may get there very pleasant climate with scenic beauties.

      Thanks,

  34. Hi Gaurav, Today I visited your blog once again to think that something new will be posted by you but I found your old post, but no matter. 35. Hi Gaurav

I’ll be going for my Honeymoon in late august 2014. Could you please suggest me what will the best place to visit in India during that time. My far most concern is Safety, keeping that in mind please suggest the best place. I was thinking about Ooty or Kerala. And also I’ll be travelling from Chandigarh. PLEASE HELP

    Thanks

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Nikhil: Ooty & Kerala, both are best suitable and top destinations for honeymoon in August so you don’t need to worry about security issue. You can easily see there lots of new married couples. So security is not any concern, just choose a place to visit there. I will recommend Kerala as August is the end of monsoon season, so natural beauty remain on peak in rainy season in Kerala.

Ooty is also an excellent choice as there is no heavy rain in August month. So choose anyone what you like. It all depends on our desire. Thanks.

      • @Gaurav: Thanks you so much for your reply. So I have decided to Visit Kerala for my Honeymoon. Now, what are the ‘must visit’ places in Kerala? Since, I live in Toronto therefore don’t have a clue about my booking arrangements. As I have been reading a lot about fraudulent websites and travel agents. How would I go about making all arrangements?
Also, other than Google+ , are you on any other social website?

Once again, I highly appreciate your help.

        • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

I will suggest you to book your Kerala honeymoon package from any trusted tour operator website in India where you can not only book best accommodation, but you will also get all the answers related your queries. 38. Hi,

I want to plan my honeymoon trip in starting of june 14. What is the best place to visit interms of climate, fun?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

As I already said above, travelling to hill stations in summer(june) could be a better option. You can plan for Darjeeling, Ooty, Mahabaleshwar or Manali. Avoid Kerala due to heavy monsoon in June/July. Enjoy!!

  39. hi..gaurav…
I am planning my honeymoon in may first week. I am confused, either to go Kullu Manali or Kerala. Please suggest me a good place where I can find a cool climate. My budget is 25k.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Poonam: Kerala is ideal place to visit during winter season cause of pleasant climate and awesome sightseeing. May is summer season in Kerala, so try to avoid it. Manali could be the best choice. However, 25k budget is not good enough for enjoy & visiting everywhere in Manali. But if your trip is short(2 -3 days), then 25k is good enough. Its all depends on how long is your trip. Thanks!

  40. Great place for traveling, i love Goa for travel.

  41. Hi Gaurav,

I am planning a short holiday in May 1st week. Kindly suggest a few destinations apart from Kullu Manali. How wud be Andaman, Lakshwadeep, Leh during that time?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Atul: May is winter season for traveling to Leh, so it depends what type of climate you are looking for. May is also not a ideal time not to visit Andaman Islands as Andaman receives heavy rain between May to July. Alternately, You can plan for Lakshadweep as it offers pleasant climate(dry & cool in May month) which are ideal for travelers.

      Best,

  42. These all places are such a great choice for going on honeymoon and enjoy a memorable honeymoon trip. I always recommend India as one the best travel destination. Kerala is the best travel destination in india for honeymoon as per my personal experience.

  43. Hi Gaurav..very happy to see ur patient reply…
im getting married at the end of june & plannin to go for honeymoon in first week of july….which will b the best destination shimla or manali or sikkim??? expecting ur reply…thanks

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Venkatesan: July is heavy rainy season in North India, but not too much in Himanchal. You can plan for Shimla or Manali or both as you like. July is also monsoon season in Sikkim, so better to avoid it.

  44. hi gaurav,
i m planning honeymoon in the first week of april, plz suggest me good place among (ooty, manali, kerala, darjilleng and nainital). I want a place to be with pleasant climate and some adventures if any. plz reply

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

If you’re looking for a honeymoon destination which deliver good climate with some adventurous experience, I will prefer Manali. Manali is not only offer pleasant climate during April, but also it is good location for adventure freaks. Thanks.

  45. Hi Gaurav,

Gud Job!!! special appreciation for your patience ! :)
Planning for honey moon in 3 rd week of April. Kerala was outta choice since climate wud be hot as in south summer. Can you let me know destinations in north which would be cold and if possible snowy ! ;) Only need is pleasant climate. Please suggest. Thanks much in advance!

    Vaishnavi.R

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@ Vaishnavi: I will also not suggest Kerala in summer season, better to plan any hill stations in north. There are lots of places in North India which offers pleasant and romantic climate throughout summer season. However, I can’t say any places in India can offer snowfall late in April except Leh/Ladakh. Even Manali also not offers snow in April, but climate remains very pleasant in summer too! I’ll suggest you to visit Leh/Ladakh, Shimla or Manali.

Hope, you found my ideas little bit worth. Thanks!

  46. taher alirajpurwala

    Dear Gaurav,
Please tell me on which month is most suitable for honeymoon?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Very good question Taher :D I just suggest you to plan only in three season..Summer…Winter..or Monsoon..

By the way, thanks for comment :)
      Good Luck,

  47. I am planning to go on for a vacation for about a week or Ten days package in the month of May-June 2014, i am really confused after watching so many beautiful locations on this page, so need a bit help and guidance, can anyone help me to sort out few places and give me good advice? and then i can finalize to choose one place.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

I already replied very similar queries as you asked. You can check previous comments for a better idea to choose a dream honeymoon destination. I hope above comments will help you.

      Regards,

  48. Hi..Gaurav…First of all Thank-you for for being helping hand for many people like me…:)
Coming to my point now, we are planning honeymoon in the last week of April and I have to make choice between Kerala and Sikkim. what will you suggest…..

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Ritika: Avoid Kerala for honeymoon in summer. However, Sikkim is ideal destination for honeymoon during last week of April.

  49. Hi Gaurav,
I’m planning honeymoon in 2nd week of may, I am from vizag (Andhrapradesh) Have a budget of around 50K. Please suggest best options for spending lovely time together.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Bhaskar, May is hot month for visiting Kerala or Goa. So avoid it if you planned about it. However, Andaman is not too far from Andra, so you can also think about Andaman Islands for early in may which is suitable around this budget too. Alternately Munnar, Darjeeling & Panchgani are also fantastic options.

  50. Hi Gaurav,

I would require a suggestion from you. I am planning to go on honeymoon trip in month of June till august. I have checked the previous comments and I couldn’t get any idea which is the best place during this time. Could you please guide me on this?

    Thank you

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

It means your honeymoon trip is almost two month long, but its fantastic BTW! I always suggest everyone to plan honeymoon trip as long as they can.

Now come to your question, two month is not only very much time to spend together, but also good enough to visit lots of honeymoon destinations. In brief, I just say these are the best places to visit from June to August –

Mahabaleshwar, Andaman, Kerala/Kodaikanal or Mount Abu (Very Romantic in Monsoon Season) [End of June - August]

      Thanks,

  51. Hi Gaurav,

i am planning for a short honeymoon (3 days, 4 nights) in the last week of April 2014. I am confused here, could you please let me know which place would be good from below options.

Nainital, Goa, Shimla, Ooty and Mahabaleshwar

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Your shortlisting is fantastic, without doubt. So what I suggest, Nainital is also a better option, but plan Shimla for honeymoon in last of April. There are lots of tourist activities to do in Shimla in June for couples. And Shimla weather is also little bit more pleasant than Nainital in this month. Avoid Goa in late of April. However, mid of November to last of March is the best choice for honey time in Goa. Thanks.

      Sorry for late reply Avinash!

  52. Is it good to visit Munnar in march end. How will be the weather . Will it be too hot to visit?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Shruti: March offers pleasant climate for visiting in Munnar. You can expect maximum of 35°C temp there as it is starting summer season in Munnar. However, it is also ideal time to visit tea museum, tea estates and other popular tourist attractions.

  53. Hi Gaurav:

I would require a suggestion from you. I am planning to go on honeymoon trip in month of may 2nd wk. So, Could you please guide me which is best among shimla, kulu manali and Andaman Nicobar.

    Thank you

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

May is the summer season in India so you can enjoy some water sports & tourist activities in Andaman Islands. However, Manali is better than Shimla for honeymoon in May month. Now ball in your side, choose what type of weather you really looking for. Thanks.

  54. rahul shrivastava

I am planning to go for honeymoon in june.
Could you please help me out whether manali is good in weather, or goa ??

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Rahul. One of my friend visited Manali for honeymoon in the last year in June. And as he told me Manali is a must go destination for romantic couples, doesn’t matter June is warm season in India, Manali offers very pleasant climate for travelers and far better experience compare to any other romantic honeymoon destinations in India.

  55. Hi Gaurav,

I would require a suggestion from you. I am planning to go on honeymoon trip in month of august. I couldn’t get any idea which is the best place during this time. Could you please guide me on this?

    Thank you

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Sure Danish. I definitely have few recommendation for you. August is mainly season of monsoon in India. So I think Kerala may be the ideal option for you to enjoy in backwaters/houseboat, hill stations and beaches. Else, Darjeeling and Munnar are also best for honeymoon trip in August. Thanks.

  56. Hi, we’re planning for a honeymoon in August and we’re really keen on Goa, but I’m wondering whether the rains will be too heavy during this time and how good an option it is. Please suggest

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Radhika: Weather is unpredictable. But one thing is easily predictable that is rain in August in Goa. So I suggest you to avoid Goa in this month. Choose another destination for your honeymoon. Take Care!!

  57. First of all Kudos for your Blog, good one!!
I am getting married on 7th of this June and planning for a Honey moon in Kerala, Will there be heavy rains,,Is it a good decision ,If not Which will be the best destination to enjoy a chilling winter..

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Your hesitation are right Mayur. June is start of the monsoon season in Kerala. So better to ignore if you want to avoid rain or looking for any chilling hill station. You can plan for Darjeeling, Manali, Leh or Kashmir for pleasant climate in summer season. However, there is no place in India which receives snow fall or very chill weather in June. Thanks.

  58. Hi Gaurav,
I am planning for honeymoon in November . Pls suggest some good places ?? As I live in north India.. so I am not considering Manali, Shimla, nanital ..other near by places..

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Other near by locations in north India where you can consider for honeymoon e.g. Mount Abu, Gulmarg, Kasauli and Mussoorie. However, Goa is the top recommended and most visiting destination in India for honeymoon in November. Take Care!!

  59. Hi Gaurav,
Thanks a lot for the information
you made it simple the amazing information with your insights

I am planning for honeymoon in the last week of may
I just want to stay in some place rather visiting two destinations at a time for a span of four days
In between Shimla and Mussorie what do you think will be the best place to stay
or is it possible to cover both of them for a good experience

    Thankyou

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Naidu: Approx(255 km.) 6 hours long distance between these destinations if you go by public transport. So it depends on you either you want to visit one place or both. But if you want to visit both, I suggest you to spend more time in Mussoorie, then plan about Shimla. Mussoorie offers lots of activities rather than Shimla in summer. However, don’t expect much chill climate there(Mussoorie and Shimla both).

I have little bit recommendation for you. Manali is far better than Mussoorie & Shimla both; especially for honeymoon in May month. However, I don’t know if you already visited Manali before. Thanks :)

      • Hi Gaurav, Many Thanks for the reply
I have been to manali around 8 yrs back
due to hill station the journey through road is unfavorable to my fiancee

Any destination which is cool enough and near to airport/rly station (including southern part of india)
        thanks in advance

        • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Naidu: Mussoorie is most suitable for transportation point of view as well as weather point of view. Either you can plan by air or by rail, both are good option. But rail will be better option for you as Mussoorie is very close to Dehradun railway station(Approx(30 km.)) and it will take only half an hour to reach Mussoorie from Dehradun if you use private/public transport.

          Thanks, & Take Care!! :)

  60. Dear Gaurav, Plesae help me to choose best honeymoon place in india for me, IO am basically from patna and doing job in delhi, I would prefer safety, so please suggest most romantic and pleasent place, Thanks in advance, Regards, please reply on my email.

    Thanks with my best regards

    Mukesh

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Mukesh: I already listed all romantic and safe honeymoon destinations in India in this post. I can’t suggest you a specific destination if I don’t know in which month you are planning for honeymoon. There are lot of places near Delhi for honeymoon. Kindly send more detail. Thanks,

  61. Dear Gaurav,

Can u please suggest the best destination for honeymoon in mid of June.(Place in proximity to Maharashtra..)

    thanks in advance

    Vipul

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Vipul: You may choose anyone among Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani, Khandala or Matheran in Maharashtra for honeymoon.

  62. Hii

I Am planning for my honey moon in last week of august. I am very confused for place of honey moon in india. Please suggest me best options for that period to enjoy weather.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

As suggested above, August is tough time to choose a most ideal location for romantic honeymoon especially if you want to avoid rain. Better to plan Munnar or hills of Darjeeling. Else if you want to enjoy the most romantic weather, better to plan for Kerala. Kerala becomes more romantic during rainy/monsoon season. Good Luck!

  63. Thanks For giving this information. It will be helpful for every newly married couples and giving reply with patience also good

  64. Hi Gaurav,
I am planning for honeymoon in 1st week of may. . Pls suggest some good places ?? As I am from mumbai. India.. we are in group and some of us like adventures activities also so we have planned for manali-shimla.. or darjeeling gangtok.. or good if u can suggest any other places..
    thanks

  65. Hello Gaurav,
I am planning for honeymoon in mid of May. My budget would be 50,000 including airfare from Pune. I would like to go for a period of 6 days. My priorities are safety and a climate of 10 to 25 degree celcius which is pleasant, Also there will be declaration of election results in Mid of May, so can be violent in some places. Please share your thoughts…. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Aditya: May is the month to visit hill stations. So better to plan for any hill place rather than beaches. And don’t worry, election result will declare till 16 of May so I think there is no chances for violence(However, exceptions are exceptional!).

If you’re planning to fly from Pune, better to search any nearest location which fit on your budget. And as you said your trip is 6 day long, better to plan for multiple nearby locations. Shimla, Manali, Mussoorie, Nainital and Mount Abu are the best hill places which offers pleasant climate in May. However, there are also some hill stations near Pune where you can consider like Ooty, Munnar, Kodaikanal & Mahabaleshwar. Good Luck :)

  66. Hi Gaurav,
I am planning for Honeymoon in 1st week of november. Pls suggest some good, safe place and its booking procedure.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Just one recommendation for you. GOA. Goa is the best honeymoon destination in November. For booking honeymoon packages, visit Makemytrip, Expedia or Yatra. You can also call on their toll free customer care number for more information regarding booking procedure. Thanks.

  67. Hi Gaurav,
This blog is really helpful and informative. Thanks for all your effort.
I am plaaning for Honeymoon in the first week of july. I know it’s a rainy month in India.
Could you please suggest me a good, safe and romantic location other than Manali or Shimla ?
Waiting for your reply……. please reply soon so that i can better prepare.

    Thanks in advance !!!

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

If you want to avoid Himachal, you can plan for Mount Abu in Rajasthan in the month of July. It will be beautiful and nature scenic during monsoon.

  68. Hello Friend, thank you for posting such a great compilation of all best spots in India. Now, fortunately (or unfortunately) I am getting married and I am planning for some special honeymoon. And after some research, i have shortlisted Andamans/Lakshadweep/Wayanad(Kerala)/Mahabaleshwar…. We are from Kerala and so Wayanad is a natural option but least preferred. I would be grateful if you can give me your inputs to finalize my location.

    Regards, Rakesh.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

There is nothing in this world named ‘unfortunately’. You’re are getting married means you’re lucky enough. I’m still looking for someone…just kidding :D :) :D :D :p

Can you confirm in which month you’re planning for honeymoon trip?

  69. Hi Gaurav.. I was reading through this thread. I really feel to appreciate your time devotion for peoples help and advice.
Pls help me too. I have to plan honeymoon between 10 to 16 July 2014.. pls suggest me some gud destinations. . budget 60k.
will kerela be humid during July..??
I am from Rajasthan so pls don’t suggest Rajasthan as a destination.

    thank in advance :-)

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Your assumption is right Vinesh. July is monsoon season in entire India(almost) including Kerala. So you may expect humidity in weather. However, Kerala is not bad choice if you’re true lover of rainy season. Himanchal(Manali, Kullu & Shimla) may be good honeymoon destination for you as it is also nearby Rajasthan, but it may be crowded too in July. Ladakh/Leh may be another fantastic choice for you. And 60K budget is also good enough for honeymoon in India. Take Care!!

  70. Hello Gaurav,
I am planning my honeymoon on 14 july to 21 july. And thinking about gangtok and darjeeling. Please suggest me will it be suitable for me in month of july ?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Avoid Gangtok-Darjeeling in July cause of heavy rain. You may plan for Rajasthan, Manali or Leh/Ladakh.

  71. Gaurav…….. you helped lot of couples, help me too, i want go for honeymoon in this May. please suggest me good places with nice weather.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Plan any hill station among these, all are worth to visit in May for honeymoon: Shimla, Mussoorie, Kullu Manali, Nainital, or Mount Abu.

  72. I am planning for my honey moon in June second week Manali & Shimla can u let me know the weather during that time. thanks in advance

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

You has choose the best destinations for your honeymoon trip in June month. Manali & Shimla, both offers pleasant climate in this month. Manali is higher recommenced from my side. However, you can also consider Mussoorie as well. Thanks.

  73. Dear Gaurav

Wow. I’m really stunned by the way you respond to all the questions. Thanks! I’m so impressed :)
I need your valuable suggestion in picking the right honeymoon spot for me :)

    Here is my situation:
    1. I’m from chennai
    2. Honeymoon plan – July 2nd week
    3. 4 days trip
    4. Within India or Andaman (which doesnt require passport)
    5. Any agent that you prefer?

Thank you so much again. Waiting for your response.

    – Godwin

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Godwin: Monsoon season remains on peek during month of July across India, so choosing a honeymoon destination in this month may be a tough job. But don’t worry, I’ll try to help you. Andaman Islands also receives heavy rain during July-August so better to think once again if you’re planning your honeymoon in Andaman. Even you will have to face rainfall everywhere in India in mid of July, but if there is no problem of budget, you may plan for Ladakh or Rajasthan.

You may also plan Kerala, Madikeri or Munnar if you’re rain lover as these locations also in South India and will easily accessible..

However, I am not related with any travel agent anyway as this blog is only for personal ideas and worth news sharing. But you may search online about travel agents who are helping for honeymoon & accommodation. Take Care!

      • Thats really nice!
Thanks a lot for shedding your thoughts on this.
We really love rain :) All we need is : Beach to play, Candle light dinner and a private place for fun. Yes, we will consider Ladakh along with Andaman.
Many thanks again for your speedy response.

  74. Hello Mr.Gaurav Sir

Kindly help me out and Please tell me which destination is most romantic in may month for honeymooner
    1.shimla
    2.ooty
    3.goa

    Regards
    Anirudh Singh

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Anirudh: May is too warmer season in India so better to plan for any chilled hill station in this month. Choose Manali rather than Shimla if you are from North India. Ooty & Darjeeling are also good option for May. And for romance at beaches side, I’ll suggest Lakshdweep & Andaman Islands are good options. The choice is yours :)

      • Hi Gaurav!
Pls suggest me the place for my honeymoon in last week of May. M from Delhi n want be near by Delhi suggest me from shimla, kasuani and Manali.

        • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Shashank: None hill station in India can compete with Manali when it comes as a top honeymoon location in India especially in summer season. However, Shimla is another a good option, but I’ll prefer & recommend Manali only as it is also not too far from Delhi.

  75. Hi!! I am getting married in December. So can you plz suggest some romantic destination ….is Shimla OK in December?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Tarannum: Of Course, Shimla is good destination for honeymoon in December because the best beauty of this winter honeymoon destination can be easily seen in this season. And the plus point is, you may also expect snow fall in Shimla late in December. Chill climate, snow cover mountains, and snowfall(if you’re lucky enough :) ) makes it most romantic destination for honeymoon in North India along with Manali.

However, Goa is another one of the best romantic place for honeymoon in month of December. So you may also think about Goa.

      Thanks.

  76. Dear Gaurav,
I like how you replying to everyone. I am confused while chossing honeymoon destination please help me to choose a proper destination. Thanks in advance.
When-2nd week of june (From Pune)
    Trip – 4 days
Planning to go to one of following – ooty, Kovalam, munnar, andaman islands

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Ganesh: June is not good time for beach honeymoon in India, so avoid Kovalam & Andaman Islands trip in June if you already plan for that, as you can face heavy rain in this month. Munnar also receives rain in June, but it is some of the best monsoon destinations of India which looks very refreshing with full of greenery and tell mountains. So if you’re a monsoon loving couple, you may plan for Munnar. However, Ooty is the best among all but it may crowded too, so plan accordingly.

      Best,

  77. Hi Gaurav,

I am looking for my honeymoon in the first week of September. Please suggest me some places.

I have shortlisted Sikkim / Darjeeling & also Leh, Ladakh.

Please let me know how the weather will be in Darjeeling, Sikkim at that time, and also the best place among these during this season. Any other suggestions are also most welcome.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Mahesh: you may face rain in Sikkim if you’re planning to visit there early in September. October – Dec is best for Sikkim. Darjeeling should be right choice for your honeymoon trip in month of September. September to June is the best time to go Darjeeling as well as Leh. So if you’re looking for some adventure activities during your honeymoon trip, Ladakh will be good. Else, Darjeeling is without doubt best choice for honeymoon.

      Gaurav,

  78. i m from jhansi , planning honeymoon in 2nd weel of july. suggest me best location . leh ladakh not possible because the great Dalai lama there till 15 july. not interested in himanchal ,manali ,kullu, rajsthan. give me idea abt sikkim ,kerala, munnar, kodakainal, koorg. kashmir. budget around 70k . thanx sir , waiting for yr ans. if possible plz provide me ur cell no on my mail . regards Dr. saurabh

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hello Dr.! You already filtered lots of good destinations prior to choose. I hope you already visited there. BTW!! As you said, you’re planning for second week of July for honeymoon somewhere in India, I’ll suggest you it is rainy season across in India and choosing a perfect destination is not a easy task. So, here choice and interest matters. Are you(both of you :) ) monsoon lover? If yes, Kerala is top suggestion from my side. You can also pick any good destination form Western Ghats for romantic honeymoon. And yes, budget numbers are looking good.

      Best,

      • thanx a lot gaurav . i hv planned kodaikanal munnar & varkala.. returning via cochin if somewhat special in cochin .. suggest me..

        • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

You has shortlisted good destinations, and hope you trip will be very romantic. I suggest you to search about ‘things to do in Cochin in July’ in Google. I believe you’ll find there some fantastic tips. Good Luck!

  79. Hi Gaurav,

I am getting married on first week of July. I am planning to go to honeymoon in second week of july.iam getting confused in Munnar,Manali & shimla. Please tell where i can go. I am from Chennai. Is climate will be same in munnar and manali in july? pls reply me. I am waiting for ur reply. after ur reply i have to plan my trip.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

There are very limited destinations in India which do not receive rain in this month; As June, July & August are the monsoon season in India. I suggest you to avoid Shimla, Manali both for the month of July cause of heavy rain & landslides(sometimes). However, Munnar is not bad choice. It also receives good rain in this month but the beauty of Munnar remains on peak in monsoon, even Munnar seems very refreshing with full of natural greenery in monsoon.

  80. suresh yadavilli

Hi dude, watt a gr8 share u we’re dng !!.. India iz blessed with above natural places ,, loved and impressed too!!.. I I’ll b married on aug15th losing my bachelor independence!!.. So I need to no which iz best suited for my honeymoon !!.. Being from south(vizag) I wish to go north only… My choice iz Darjeeling,, Simla,,r kasmir!!. Awaiting for ur kind reply!!..

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

As you’re losing your bachelor Independence on Independence Day(15th Aug) :) , I suggest you to wait 1 month more for honeymoon. I know sound is not looking very positive, but there is some reason to point out it. As you said your final choices are Shimla, Kashmir and Sikkim, I suggest you to plan after mid of September because rain season would be totally finished in this month, and then these destinations become most romantic for honey time. And Sep to June is the best time to plan trip to Shimla and Sikkim. Hope you got my point.

      Thanks,

  81. Dinesh Chand Sharma

    Hi Gaurav

We would like to thank you for mind blowing suggestions to all needful.

Kindly suggest me for my honeymoon trip from North India in December Month (2nd Week probably – As we all know, honeymoon is life tym event that partner always remembers in life)…

Looking for Site view, snowfall and adventurous moment….

Waiting for constructive & valuable suggestions.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Dinesh: I have few suggestions for you. Kashmir is the best destination which may receive snowfall from the start of December month, so its depend on you if you wanna celebrate your honey time in Kashmir or not. Alternately, you can definitely plan to visit among Rohtang, Auli, Sikkim or Dalhousie, if you wanna enjoy under snowfall. However, none can exact predict snowfall time. It all depends on weather, and your luck :)

      Good Luck,

  82. Hi Gaurav!
    Greetings of the day!
I am planning 4 honeymoon from 10th july for 5 to 7 days, can u suggest me destinations.
Please suggest me some destinations which are lesser monsoon affected.
    Waiting 4 ur reply

  83. hey,
i want to go for honemmon in dec 14 to goa, mahabaleshwar, khandala…How much day i want to cover this all spot..how i plan for these destination..plz guide me for tour plan, hotel, route etc.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Rahul. Here is Geo data for you according to Google –

      Goa to Khandala: 521 Km.

      Goa to Mahabaleshwar: 407 Km.

      Mahabaleshwar to Khandala: 181 Km.

One thing is very clear with this data, you can’t plan to visit Goa, Mahabaleshwar & Khandala within 3 – 4 days. Because it will take 6 to 8 hour to reach Goa to another destination which you shortlisted. I’ll suggest you to plan for at-least one week to visit all these destinations. Spend 2 -3 days in Goa, then 2 – 3 day among mahabaleshwar and khandala. And for hotels booking, search online deals on trip planner sites. Good Luck!

  84. Hie Gaurav first and foremost you doing a fab job… I am getting married in the month of Dec. My fiance and me are confused between Simla and Manali. Infact if you can suggest me something even better. I am too scared of water so cant think about Kerala or Lakshwadeep. We want snowy yet manageable cold. The idea is good food, places to visit yet privacy. It would be a gr8 help if you can help. Many Thx in advance :)
P.S. keep up the good work

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Aarti: There is no destination in India which can compete with Manali for honeymoon in winter season especially during November to Feb. Shimla is another a great choice, but compare to Manali, Shimla may be overcrowded during winter holiday season.

      P. S. Goa is another unbeaten destination for honeymoon in December.

      Hope, it helped!

  85. Hi Gaurav ji,

First of all i appreciate all your posts and they are extremely informative. Now that i am getting married on june 9th 2014 and planning for a honey moon in june 3rd week (15th to 22nd)..I am from chennai.
Could you please suggest me some places best for honeymoon india.

    budget 30k-40k.
    days – 3 to 5 days.

    Kindly suggest me some.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@sudhakar: If you’re planning honeymoon in July, there are very limited options in this month cause of rain. Avoid north India in this month cause of heavy monsoon. Ladakh is good option, but it is costly and out of budget too as you planned. But the good thing is you have some good options in south India and you stay in Chennai. You can plan for Madikeri, Ooty or kodaikanal.

And if you want to enjoy some monsoon magic, Kerala/Munnar will be great for you.

  86. Hey I planning for a honeymoon trip in december 2014… But I am confused between …shimla…kulumanali….which will be the best one…..what will be the temperature of this places in honeymoon.

  87. Hello Mr.Gaurav

I am planning for honeymoon trip in November mid,Kindly help me out and Please tell me which destination is most romantic in may month for honeymooner
    1.shimla
    2.Manali
    3.goa
    4 Mansoorie

    Regards
    Ajay Kumar

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Ajay: All destinations are the best and most popular among honeymooners during November to the end of the winter. You can choose anyone among these. In your shortlisted destinations, there is three hill stations and one is water sports & beaches destination. If you already visited any hill station among all these, then I’ll suggest you Goa for honeymoon. Because hill stations what you shortlisted(Shimla, Mussoorie, Manali) is not going to offer you snowfall in the mid of November. So why you don’t choose Goa? Goa is the best honeymoon choice after monsoon in India, and can make your honeymoon trip very romantic & special. Hope, that helped.

  88. Mohammad Tanveer

Hey bro need ur help actually I’m marrying my gf so wat bout goa which month should I go to goa ???

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

You can plan for Goa after mid of October to end of March. It is the best time to go Goa for enjoy your honeymoon.

  89. Hi Gaurav,

I am planning for Honeymoon in August in India.

Can you please suggest us best option among the below during this period :

    1. Kashmir
    2. Srinagar
    3. Leh Ladakh
    4. Kerala

Can we cover both Kashmir and Srinagar in 4-5 days?

    Best Regards,
    Pavan

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Kashmir & Ladakh/Leh are the best destinations for honeymoon in August(monsoon season) as J&K doesn’t receive heavy rain in August. And it will be great if you plan for Ladakh.

P.S. I guess 5 days are enough for visiting Srinagar & Kashmir both.

  90. Manali is my most favorite tourism destination for honeymoon trip of couples, my lot of friends went there after their marriage. Thanks.

  91. hi Gaurav,
I am planning my honeymoon trip in the month of NOV first week. in your earlier post u suggested Goa is the best place what about Kerala is it not good to visit in nov .Suggest me the best place I want to make my trip memorable.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Ravi. Kerala can be visited anytime through out the year. And Oct to March is the peak season to visit Goa as well as Kerala. You can choose any destination according to your interest.

  92. Hey Gaurav.. Thanks for making this portal its very valuable for all who is seeking places to visit in India and start their new life..
BTW I am planning to visit Kerala in the month of Jan 2015..

  93. hey i am living surat, gujarat.. and i want to plan honneymoon for 3 days.. i know it is very less time.. but i want to get out for these days.. which is nearer and best place.. i want to visit in june.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Amit: As you live in Gujarat and looking for nearest honeymoon location, I will suggest you to plan for Mount Abu hill station. Mount Abu is located in Rajasthan near Gujarat border and a good place for honeymoon, and it is also not too far from your locality compare to any other honeymoon destination. Alternately, you can plan to visit somewhere in Rajasthan.

      TC,

  94. hi i am praveen from hyderabad.
i am planning honeymoon around august 20
preferring south india planning 4-5 days.
i dont want the tour to be more hectic and want to enjoy leisurely. please suggest me a good place

    thanx in advance

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Praveen: I believe mid of August(around 20th) is the heavy rain season in south India, so you don’t have lot of options in August. But you can plan for Kerala in AUG as Kerala offers hill stations & beaches both. And yes, Kerala is also not overcrowded in August.

  95. hi i am balu from hyderabad.
i am planning honeymoon around July 20 preferring south india planning 4-5 days.

Since it is rainy season , can u please suggest best option where u will have less rainfall and can joy outdoors.

i dont want the tour to be more hectic and want to enjoy leisurely. please suggest me a good place

    thanx in advance

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

As you are from Hyderabad I shall recommended you to visit Mahabaleshwar, Mysore, Ootty, Kodaikanal, or Alleppey for honeymoon. However, there is no guarantee of zero rainfall anywhere in India rather than Leh Ladakh and Kashmir. So I suggest you plan any destination among them, but some destinations are also too far from Hyderabad. So decide carefully and according to your trip. Good Luck.

  96. Hi Gaurav,
I am planning honeymoon trip in the mid of december. Can you please suggest the best place to visit. I am fond of mountains, snow and cold weather so North East was my choice and my fiance wants to go to kerela. So I am confused. Final decision is laid on me. Can you please guide? I stay in Pune and want to know in terms of weather, cost, travel that which of these places will be better to visit.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Sneha. Why are you thinking so much if final decision is laid on you :) There is nothing wrong. If you want to go north India for honeymoon in search of some romantic climate and chilled environment, I best suggest you’re on the right track. Specially some beautiful hill stations of north India becomes very romantic in the winter season. There are lots of honeymoon spots in north, so its better first decide which destination you really like to visit. You have bunch of options like Manali, Nainital, Mussoorie, Shimla, Auli, Dalhousie, Gulmarg and more n more..n more!!! Apart from this, this trip may be costly for you as You live in Pune, and all these destinations are too far from there. However, Kerala is another great honeymoon location for you. Dec is also the best time to go Kerala too. Hope, it helped.

  97. Hi Gaurav
    Went through your posts
it’s really Nice and helpful….great job

Dude i am planning for Honeymoon in or around end July or mid August
could you plz suggest me with some remarkable honeymoon places as i want to make it a remarkable one.
Plz do specify the activities as well.

    Thanks in advance

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Yugraj, first thanks for the compliment. Now I back to your query. July and August are very hard for any travel planner to suggest any top honeymoon destination to any honeymoon couple because these months are most disliked month for travelling due to heavy raining. From hill stations to beaches, all receives heavy rain in mid of July to end of August. Still this time is most romantic time for monsoon lovers. So if you really to travel and enjoy in rainy season, I suggest here some honeymoon places here. Kerala & Rajasthan can be consider for this time.

  98. Hi Gaurav,
i am waris from patna. I am planning honeymoon trip in the 2nd week of september. Can you suggest which place to visit.
    kerala, kashmir or darjeeling.
    Can you please guide?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

For honeymoon in September, I suggest Darjeeling is the best choice among all. This is the best time to go Darjeeling, and during this period Darjeeling looks marvelous!! And it is also not too far from Patna. Thanks.

  99. Hi Gaurav, I am from bangalore and planing honeymoon trip for just 3 days with less cost on august 08th, so can you please suggest me best places to visit and enjoy
sant recently posted…Top 10 Hotels in GoaMy Profile

In low cost budget I suggest you to visit some near by places only. Yercaud, Nandi Hills, Ooty or Coorg. All are not too far from Bangalore. You can plan anyone among them. TC.

  100. Hi buddy,

i am planning to go on honeymoon from August 16 till weekend, can you please suggest best places in India wherein i can go considering weather in August month.

  101. Avinash Nanganure

    Hi Gaurav…
Nice to see your suggestions for others…

Need your help for planning my honeymoon as well from 21st Dec for a week . I am thinking of below options :
    1) Andaman / Lakashwadeep
    2) Kerala
    3) Leh Ladakh
    4) Shimla – Manali

Please suggest which one will be the best to travel in Dec month.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Avinash. First you have to decide where you really want to go; hill stations or beaches? If hill stations are your choice, then I say you already shortlisted top destinations like Shimla & Manali. Manali is recommended here. Now come to your next choice, if you like to visit beaches land, I will suggest here Goa, Kerala and Lakshadweep, which offers magnificent view of blue beaches and natural surrounding(plus enjoy some water-sports activities as well).

Now ball in your side :) Choose one what you really love to feel.

      P.S. Sorry for late reply!

  102. Hi Gaurav,

First of all thanks so much for such a informative post & really appreciate your efforts to ans each & everyone’s query here.

I’m planning for my honeymoon in month of feb, would really appreciate your views for destinations based on below:

    My budget: Max 30k
    looking for : 4 nights
Place: Kerala in view (houseboat+hill station+beach if possible)
Please suggest location for each, thanks !!

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

      paradise-kerala.com/blog/kerala-travel-tips/planning-kerala-tour/

This is the best guide available on internet about how to plan honeymoon in Kerala. Go through above link, hope it is the answer of your all queries. That is the individual travel blog of Kerala honeymoon planner, so you may get there much accurate info about Kerala honeymoon.

However, Feb is fantastic month to spent time in Kerala. 30K seems not much, but sufficient for 4 nights, if you do not include extra expenses like shopping, both side fares etc. TC!!

  103. Hi,

I am planning a trip to Kerela this December 2014.

It will be a 7 to 10 days trip.

    What places i can visit?
    From where to start?
Mode of transport from Delhi and also while travelling within Kerela?
Should i go for package deal or arrange everything of my own?
How much will be cost involved?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Rahul, your query is too long to answer. Let me go through step-by-step.

      # I guess you already shortlisted Kerala for travel in December month, its good. Goa, Kerala and hill stations are the great choice for honeymoon in December.

      # Its better to catch flight from Delhi to Kerala as you’ll get more time to spend in Kerala and all around if there is no issue of budget. Else, you can take one side flight, and another side train. Of-course, with this you
      can save expenses.

      # I’ll not suggest to go for package deal until it is sure that what exactly they’re offering and what they deliver. The key benefits of arrange everything own is that you can change you mood to visit anywhere anytime according to weather & conditions, but with the deal you can’t go beyond the criteria. However, it is always recommended to book hotel in advance.

      # At last, cost/budget. December is peak season in India for honeymoon and winter vacations, so I guess it
is wrong to expect low cost honeymoon trip in December in Goa, Kerala any other chilled place. However, a rough idea is 30k is good budget for 7 days trip.

But, don’t just believe on me. Must consult any trusted travel planner for budget and other related queries. Good Luck!

  104. Hi Gaurav
We are planning honeymoon for a week in last week of February. We are from Mumbai. Please suggest us for the best natural place in India which have less crowd and more peaceful. We are not thinking of Goa n Kerala as already visited.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Sharad, as you already visited Kerala & Goa, I recommended you to plan for Andaman Islands or Lakshadweep as these are also less crowded destinations. But Andaman is too far from Mumbai.

  105. Hi,

    Very good posting information.

I have seen many suggestion top, I got married on Aug 1st now for honeymoon which place is good as I stay in Bangalore.
Every place its monsoon season, Tried to go for Munnar Alleppey there also its rain. So please suggest can we go this month or in Sep. With places in details.
jeevan recently posted…Top 10 Hotels in GoaMy Profile

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

      @Jeevan:

I better suggest you plan honeymoon in September if you want to avoid rainy season. However, none can predict the weather, but there will be less chances of rain in September as well as price and accommodation also be affordable to stay in Munnar in Sep. As you are travelling from Bangalore, you may also consider Ooty or Wayanad. These all destinations are good to visit after monsoon.

      TC,

  106. Hi
I am from south india.can u please suggest places in tamilnadu nearby in the month august and september.where i need best place for photo shoot which should be memorable..

  107. geetika shrivastava

hi gaurav we are planning for honeymoon during first week of October 2014 plz suggest me which places will be easily accessible to us, as right now i m living in mp and as i want to avoid rainfall.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

India offers lot of destinations for honeymoon in October month. For honeymooners(like you) have more option to visit beautiful places for romance and good time. As you’re from MP, I’ll say you should plan for Coorg, Munnar, Andaman & Nicobar Islands or Manali. All are the paradise for honeymooners.

I don’t think you’ll face rain in October. However, exception is really exceptional :)

      Good Luck.

  108. BISHWAJIT MAITRA

    Hi Gaurav,
I am from Kolkata, WB. I am planning for honeymoon in the 3rd week of December’2014 or in the month of January’2015, as per the availability of hotels.
Please suggest me the best place for honeymoon according to your choice at that time. I have some places in my mind which is given below, please suggest me the best one for ONE Week:
Munnar, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Shimal, Manali, Nainital, Mahabaleshwar . . .

    Thanks

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Manali is the best among all specially for enjoy honeymoon during late of December or anytime in winter January, and February. It is the best destination for honeymoon in north India, even better than Shimla, Mussoorie, and Nainital too. However, Munnar is unbeaten if you’re planning for honeymoon somewhere in south India.

      Regards,

  109. Hi Gaurav,

We are planning to go Goa on 1st week of Sep.

Please let me know the visitable place at there, I have 2 days for the same.

    Thanks

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Rashmi. Goa is not recommend anyway for honeymoon in September as it is the monsoon season in Goa and Goa receives much rain throughout in Sep. So avoid it if possible.

  110. Hiii gaurav
We are planning for kerala in October last week.
    So please give some suggestions
Or any other place to go..

  111. Tanya Nandkeoliar

    hi
I am searching for a fun filled trip with friends anywhere in India in the month of Nov.. any suggestions

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Tanya. November is ideal time to visit hill stations & beaches, both. You can plan anywhere according to your friends choice and preference.

  112. Hi Gaurav,

I am getting married in Feb. Which place do you think is best for honeymoon during February.
I am planning for Andaman. Can you please suggest some good places?
    Thanks

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

February is just a right month for honeymoon as I think. It is not much hot, and not too cool. So you can plan anywhere, whether hill stations or sandy beaches, you have very long list of honeymoon places in this month. You can plan for Manali, Goa, Shimla, Gulmarg, Darjeeling, Andaman Nicobar Islands or Lakshdeep and more-n-more.

  113. Hi Gaurav

I am getting marriage in January last week. Please tell best place for honeymoon my bugte is 50000.
    Please tell me

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Dheeresh: Manali will be great if you wanna enjoy snowfall. Apart from that Goa, Shimla, Darjeeling, Kerala, and Nainital are other top recommendation after Manali. But in case if you already visit Manali, plan for Goa. January is the best time for honeymoon in Goa. And in Jan, you have lot of options to choose a better & desire destination.

However, December to January is the most expensive time too for stay in hotels as it is the peak time for winter vacations and holidays. But, 50000 is very sufficient budget for enjoy honeymoon anywhere in India.

      Good Luck!

  114. Hi Gaurav , Appreciate your effort but I want to make one point here .I had seen that you are preferring Kerla over Manali .I think Himachal is having so many beautiful spot which you missed with manali . someone can visit chamba , dalhouji , Dharmshala , recong peo with manali . I think people will feel like heaven in these places ,

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Vikas Thakur. Thanks for your feedback.

If you checked my previous comments, you would find my top recommendation is Manali. It all depends on time. Users ask me to suggest some right place for honeymoon in mid of June to August, So I suggest Kerala over Manali or any other destination as monsoon or rainy season is not the best time to visit Manali, if they ask some me some place for honeymoon in winter & summer, Manali is always my top preference. I never said Manali is better than Kerala, or Kerala is better than Manali. Every place has own uniqueness, importance and beauty.

      BTW, thanks for your input.

  115. I had very bad experience with Cab driver on my trip to kerala. I have booked kerala package through must see india.

Everything is good except with cab driver.

Just want to alert other people , if you are given below driver for your trip better change him

I am getting married in Dec and planning for Honeymoon in Dec last week.
We belong to North India.. Please suggest us best place for our Honeymoon.

    Thanks

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hey Sweta. December is the best time to go hill stations in search of snowfall. As you’re from North India; Manali, Mussoorie, or Shimla will be good. Gangtok/Sikkim is another a better option for visit in December.

      Thanks,

  119. Hi Gaurav,

    Went through your posts
it’s really Nice and helpful….great job dear !

I am getting married in Dec and planning for Honeymoon in Jan first week.
We belong to Delhi. Please suggest us best place for our Honeymoon.

    Thanks

  120. how good is north east for honeymoon in feb

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

You may plan for Darjeeling, Gangtok, beautiful Shillong, Pelling, or Lachung for honeymoon in North-East India in Feb month. However, Darjeeling and Gangtok is highly recommended for honeymooning as it is the freezing months of these destination.

Hope, you got what I want to say :)

  121. Hi Gaurav,

Undoubtedly you are doing good work. really appreciate your great service. All the best.

Well I am planning to go for vacations in the month of Jan. 1st week. Please suggest best place as well as low in expense. We are from delhi so Pls suggest some places like Lakshadweep, guwahati, Shillong, andaman and nicobar island. already visited.. kerela and northern area.
my first preference is andaman and nicobar.. but dont know the budget, how many days should be spend… our budget is 50K – max 60K including flight fares.
    thanks in advance!

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Nikita, thanks for your compliment :)

As I calculated flight fare on Yatra, it will cost your around 30k round-trip for two person, and hotel expenses are apart from that. So you may expect this trip will cost you more than 60k including flights+hotels for one week. Anything below 60k will not be much comfortable. I suggest you contact Makemytrip/Yatra trip planner team, they may better guide you for Andaman Islands honeymoon trip according to your budget & trip days.

However, January is ideal time to visit Andaman.

      TC,

  122. Hi Gaurav, I’m planning for North Sikkim trip in the month of April 2014. I have no issues with any kind of food but my fiance is pure vegan and wondering if she can bare the weather too. Could you please advice me on availability of Vegetarian Food and weather in April.

Any other advice on trip are much appreciated.

    Thank you in advance :)

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Sorry Santosh. I don’t have much knowledge about foods & restaurants of Sikkim. But I can suggest you to find nearby pure veg restaurants in Sikkim, just call to Justdail. They’ll provide you all information about food places nearby your current location.

Alternately, you can check this link for more info:

      Hope, that helped.

  123. hi Gaurav,
i want to plan my honeymoon in first week of OCT.kindly guide me for some best destinations which can also come in budget. please reply on my mail

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Sumit. Can you tell me what is your current location so that I can also suggest you some nearby honeymoon places as well.

      Looking for your revert!

  124. Hi Gaurav,
Great thing you have got going on here!
I’ll get married next may and am confused about where to go for my honeymoon. Kashmir is the most viable option as i’ll start from Delhi. Kindly advise. Thanks!
    Keep up the good work!

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Nishith. We all know about the condition and situation of Jammu & Kashmir as a natural disaster (flood) has completely vanished the beauty & happiness of this romantic and beautiful place. So I’ll not suggest Kashmir for honeymoon for at least next 8 to 10 months.

As you’re from Delhi, you have some very good options for honeymoon in May month. Some nearby honeymoon destinations are Manali, Dalhousie, Shimla, Kasauli, and Nainital. You may also plan Andaman, Coorg, or Ooty if distance and budget is not an issue.

However, I am not sure how many places among these you have already visited. :)

  125. hello gaurav,
I am going to get married at the end of january, 2015. Can u please tell me what are the best options to go for honeymoon during Winters? I am thinking about kerala and Andaman nicobar islands.. Are these good options to go for? one more thing, I am vegetarian, so i would like to go somewhere where veg food is easily available.. please help me in choosing the best option…

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Absolutely, January is the best time to go Kerala and Andaman for honeymoon.

However, I am not much sure about Andaman Nicobar because these places are actually Islands, and sea foods are the specialty of these destinations & first choice among honeymooners too! So searching some veg foods may be tough job for you. But, as there are numbers of premium hotels & restaurants, so I guess you may get what you’re looking for. And one more thing, this is India; so veg food can be find easily….anywhere in this country :) :)

And don’t forget to check these links:)www.and.nic.in/tourism/food.php

  126. hi Gourav
Can you please tell me more about nainital n shimla …want to spend some of time with my beloved …..

  127. Hi Gaurav..first of all let me appreciate what u r doing..went through your posts n found them very helpful..now coming to the point I m getting married in mid jan..want to plan a trip in jan itself..so which will be the best place to spend the most memorable time of our lyf..i have already been to kerala n thinking about andaman..pls suggest me wht r the places n things which can be enjoyed in andaman or any other place which you think wll be good..also if u can give any info where i wll find the details i wll be very thankful to you..

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Jyoti: First, let me thank to you for appreciation :)

So, January is the best time to visit hill stations as well as sunny beaches for honeymoon. If you want to visit beaches in early in January for honeymoon, that’s great! This season is ideal for honeymoon in Andaman Islands. However, Goa is another fantastic option for honeymoon in late December or Jan to Feb (If you haven’t visited there, but I guess you did :) )

Else, Manali is the best to go in January month for romantic honeymoon.

      Hope, it is enough.

  128. Hi dear,

Nice to see your posts with genuine feedback.
I am from Kashmir and planning for a honeymoon trip in ending October to Andaman and Nicobar islands or Lakswadeep. Please suggest are these the right places to visit in October? Or should I plan for Goa or Pondicherry

    Br
    Shoaib

  129. Hi Gurav,

Getting married in 2nd week of Dec, planning to go shimla, manali & Leh for honeymoon. Can you advise which part of India is better for honeymoon? South or North?

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Srikant, Actually there are lots of romantic honeymoon spots in south India and north India, both. It depends on which destinations are easily to accessible in average budget. And, December is peak time for winter holidays & honeymoon, so you have huge options to choose from.

In North India, you can plan for Manali(Of-course, it is an unbeaten destination in India for honey time in Dec), and some others are Shimla: Queen of Hills, Nainital, Mussoorie, and Udaipur.

And in South India in December, try to visit Kerala(Munnar, Alleppey, Kovalam, Thekkady), Coorg, Lakshadweep, or Ooty.

      Enjoy!!

  130. hi gaurav, i am having my first wedding anniversary on coming 24th november. i was planning for shimla to celebrate it. is november end good for shimla ? can you suggest us some other destinaton. it can be a hill station or a beach resort or an exotic palace or some cottage in wild life century, planning for a 2 days 2 nights trip.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

@Khushali: Absolutely, Shimla is an ideal choice for celebrate anniversary in November. Not expect much cold or snowfall, but weather remain cool, romantic & pleasant throughout in November. And, of-course, it is ideal time to visit Shimla too as November is the start of winter season in India, so it will be great. However, you may also consider Manali over Shimla.

Some other destination which offers great beaches or beaches side resorts also might be a good choice, but these places will crowded too cause of peak tourism season. So, better to plan for hill station only. BTW, You can plan about Rajasthan. It offers culture, food, historical sites, and of-course.. India’s best honeymoon and luxury resorts too. Rest on you.

      Take Care.

  131. Hi Gaurav,

First your blog is really useful review about many new places. I am planning for my honeymoon trip in the first week of april. Thought about kerala(wayanad) since i am fond of hill stations but confused to select on climatic conditions on april since i am not very much sure about climate on april. now i am confused to select between andaman or shimla or kerala(waynad). I am planning with a budget of less than 50K with travel expense and with trip of 5 days. Need your suggestion on this.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Anith. Try to avoid Kerala in April cause of humidity & hot weather. However, Cochin may be good but I am not much sure. Andaman is also hot in April, but compare to Kerala it is good to visit cause of less crowd and perfect for water sports & activities. If you wanna choose between Andaman Islands and Kerala, then Andaman is my only recommendation for honeymoon in April month.

  132. Hi Gaurav,

Awesome blog to get the correct information to plan holidays. I also have a query, I’m getting married on 1st Dec 2014 and planing our honeymoon in 2nd week of dec. Can you please guide us to find a good destination. Well, shimla n Manali these 2 places are in my mind. Please suggest and one more thing there should be snow as per my spouse condition :D
    Thanks in Advance :)

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hey Vivek. It is confirm your choice is great as you already shortlisted best places for honeymoon in December. I suggest you to plan Manali as it is the best winter destination for honeymoon in India. However, it is hard to say anything about the exact snowfall season on mountains. But you may expect snowfall in Manali from late of December to January (If you’re lucky :) )

  133. Hi sir,
I am getting married in march 2015 first week .And I am planning for honeymoon within march second week. We prefer north India for our trip. Can u please suggest a good place for us during march’15.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

You’re right Mahalakshmi. North India offers some good experience to honeymooners from March month to the end of summer season because North India has some of the best hill stations of India which are the center of attractions among couples. So you have wide options to choose from e.g. Manali, Mussoorie, Shimla, Mount Abu, Nainital, or somewhere in Rajasthan like Jaisalmer or Udaipur.

      Good Luck :)

  134. Hi Gaurav,

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Anil. I just got a very helpful page on web about tips and trip to honeymoon in Kerala. Just check this help.

      paradise-kerala.com/blog/kerala-travel-tips/planning-kerala-tour/

  136. Hi Gaurav. I am planning for honeymoon in feb 2015 to shimla. Is this place best or not. and i want to know nearest visiting places.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Manali will be good rather than Shimla for honeymoon in February 2015. However Shimla is also an ideal destination for honeymoon till end of Feb, but Manali is preferred for honeymoon in somewhere Himanchal cause of much chill climate & possibility of snowfall(from Jan to early in Feb, may be!). Along with Shimla and Manali, Dharamshala is also a better option.

  137. Hi Gaurav,

I am from Delhi and want to plan for the honeymoon in the second week of march. Please let me know the best place(s) in India. I don’t want hot temp. in that place.
    Thanks for your time!!

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

You have lot of destinations to choose from as you stay in Delhi. For spend honeymoon in March month, prefer to visit any hill station. Manali, Gulmarg, or Shimla can be visited for romantic climate, and these honeymoon destinations are easier to reach from Delhi.

However, Andaman & Nicobar, Goa, and Lakshadweep are also other popular honeymoon places in India for the month of March.

      Thanks,

  138. Hi Gaurav,

I am from Rajasthan and want to plan for the honeymoon in the second week of march.or April first week Please let me know the best place(s) in south India. I don’t want hot temp. in that place.
    Thanks for your time!!

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

      Hi Ajay,

As I suggested above, you may plan for Lakshadweep, Goa, or Andamaan Islands if you wanna enjoy sunny weather. Coorg and Munnar also offers very pleasant climate in this season, and both are great tourist destinations too!

  139. Hi gaurav,
I am confused between coorg, manali, and ooty for Jan end.
please suggest the best, and you’re doing nice work by providing suggestion.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Indeed, Amit. This query may confuse any traveler because these all destinations are best to go in January. So, It all depends which place is close to you. But one thing is differ among all, Manali is best to go for honeymoon in India in Jan, as it is one of the very few destinations which offers snowfall in January.

I believe it would solve your confusion. :D :D

  140. Hi gaurav!, I am planning to go for honeymoon in April, I want you to suggest some romantic and luxurious places (except south Indian places since i have visited) …. My budget is 70k to 1 lakh…(suggest me best places in North India or Abroad )

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

What about honeymoon in Andaman or Lakshadweep?!!

Your budget seems good, so you may think about these Islands. These destinations are also very favorable among Indian honeymooners for enjoy water sports & activities. But if you already visited there, you should plan for Darjeeling, Dalhousie, Manali or Sikkim/Gangtok.

Revert you have further queries. I’ll try to answer your all :)

  141. In last week of Feb 15 what is the best honeymoon place? I am confused between Goa and Kerala.
Which place is best for pocket, safety and memorable?
    Please suggest..

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Ankit. December to February is the peak time to visit these destinations. And as it the peak season, so don’t expect much concession on trip. Both places may charge you more. However Goa is always a preferred option, but some hill stations of Kerala are awesome to visit & see in Dec till end of Feb.

      Sorry for late response!

  142. Hi Gaurav,

I have read all the comments mentioned in the above thread. So my question is I am planning my honeymoon in Last week of May till June mid. My Budget is around 70K. Moreover I have thought of 2 Places 1) Andaman/Lakshwadeep 2) Sikkim.

I have read that June first week is Monsoon in Andaman/Lakshwadeep. Not sure about Sikkim. Can you suggest me either of those or any other place.

    Kindly suggest.

    Thanks,
    Janak

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Janak, 70k is a handsome budget for enjoy all kind of activities & entertainment. Of course, June is not the best time for honeymoon in Andaman Islands and Lakshadweep cause of heavy monsoon. So forget about that. But Sikkim is really a great choice for honeymoon in summer season; specially in may & June.

Alternately, you have few other destinations for honeymoon in June month e.g. Darjeeling, Manali, Mount Abu, and Ladakh(only if you have a week for travel)

But in case if you’re monsoon lover, plan to Kerala. Kerala looks outstanding in rainy season, and you may get less crowd & more discount due to off-season.

      Hope, it was worth.

  143. Hi Gaurav,
Is it ok to plan honeymoon in Leh-ladakh during mid MAY?? Is it a Good destination for honeymoon?? what about weather during that time.??

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

You can only reach Ladakh by flight in May month. However, weather remains fantastic in Ladakh during summer season in India. It is also a good destination as romantic honeymoon gateway. But this trip may be expensive too as flight is the only way to reach Leh-Ladakh till mid of June.

But, must consult with any good travel planner if you’re planning for honeymoon in Ladakh in May.

  144. Hi Gaurav,

I am planning to go Gangtok for honeymoon in last week of Jan 2015. Is the good choice or any other good uncommon destination.

    Please suggest.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hi Ankush. Winter season is almost ON!!! And good news is that some popular destinations including Shimla & Manali are receiving very heavy snow fall from last 2 days. So my recommendation is for you, plan somewhere in Himanchal for honeymoon in January. BTW, Gangtok is also an ideal place for travel in January, but don’t expect snow-fall however climate will be freezing cold.

  145. Hi Gaurav, great work in collecting all this data and all the help and guidance your giving. Kudos!
Could you please suggest a good destination for Jan end.. budget up-to 25-30 k. I was considering manali, udaipur, and lakshwadeep. I’m basically looking for a cozy yet scenic place.

    Thanks in advance..

  146. Hi Gaurav,

I wanna go somewhere in North India in the month of FEB to make the Honeymoon trip memorable.
Please suggest me some places to visit.
    Budget: Almost 30K

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Hey Hemant. You have lot of honeymoon destinations in North India to choose from in February. However Manali is all time great destination for romantic honeymoon somewhere in North India, but you have few other hill stations too where you can go for make your honeymoon memorable e.g. Nainital, McLeod Ganj, Shimla, Mussoorie, and Kashmir.

P.S. Of-course Kashmir is beautiful and unbeaten, but avoid due to safety issue! Consult with others if you’re planning to visit there!

However, 30k is good budget for 5-7 days honeymoon trip!

  147. Hey Gaurav its very good you are helping to find honeymoon destinations.
    Very helpful of you.
Can you please tell me good destination after 15th march. As I am from Maharashtra and I love natural beauty specially sunset, sunrise and star gauging. Thanks for the help.

    • Gaurav Kumar Srivastava

Sound like you also love to visit beaches & water sports-activities as well. So as per your interest, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands are the best for you among all destinations in March. They offers all what you may expect like lovely weather, sunny morning, green nature, blue ocean, and clean sky.

      Enjoy!
